Our present world today is devoid of peace. Natural disasters and new plagues show up more frequently than usual.
It is true that the end time prophecy in the book of revelations is manifesting before our very eyes. But in the midst of all of these, is it possible to experience peace? Our Lord Jesus Christ says, Yes!
If you go through scriptures ( starting from the four gospels) you will discovered that the Lord spoke about all the events we are seeing these days.
Matthew 24:7 KJVFor nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
You can agree with me that in one way or the other, the world is currently in chaos today. But this is just the beginning of the birthpangs. Even so, the Lord promised us peace even in the midst of all these things. One may ask, how is that? If the Lord said it is possible, then we just have to believe and receive it.
John 16:33 KJVThese things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
In his letter to the Philippians, the Apostle Paul spoke of a type of peace that is alien to the world; a peace that “surpasses all understanding.”
Philippians 4:7 KJVAnd the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
This is the peace that God promises us. This peace is mainly for the elects who are going through and will be going through diverse tribulations and trials in these last days. This is not world's peace. It's inadvisable to expect world's peace in these season and times.
John 14:27 KJVPeace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
The Lord assures us of a supernatural and spiritual peace that is meant to provide us succor and assurance in the midst of the world's chaos.
2022 Prayer Points For Peace
- Thank You Lord for Your Heavenly peace which is supplied to us in this season.
- Father, we ask for peace for all your elects around the world. No matter how big the storm the are going through, comfort them with your peace, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
- Father we declare peace over families and homes that have not known peace for a long time now. Let them begin to experience your peace, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ!
- Father we ask for your peace over everyone who is going through the pangs of the pandemic. Heal and give them peace, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
- We declare Your peace O Lord over the nations and regions that need them the most. Grant them according to your will, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ!
- We ask for Your peace upon the saints in countries which are currently going through all manner of persecution. Grant them your peace and comfort, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
- Inner peace we declare upon the depressed who have experienced one trauma or the other. Calm the storm in their life, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
- Peace we declare over the hearts of those who have experienced one form of loss or the other. Let it be their portion in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
- Your peace we declare over people and regions fighting the pandemic. Heal and restore them, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
- Father may Your peace remain in us and strengthen us through these perilous times, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
