Lord Jesus, for a long time now, I have kept you out of my life. I recognize that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I will no longer close the door when I hear you knocking. Today, I gratefully receive your gift of salvation by faith. I am willing to acknowledge You as my Lord and Savior. Thank you, Lord, for Your sacrifice for me on the Cross. I believe in You as the only begotten Son of God who died for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Thank you for the gift of eternal life made possible by your work on the Cross of Calvary. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and be my Savior. Purify me by your cleansing blood. Fill me with your Precious Holy Spirit. Write my name in the book of life. Amen.
